Forming a Coupon Club

So many people are experiencing hard times these days, doing whatever they can to save money. One way of saving is by using coupons and there is a new fun way to collect coupons these days. People have started networking and forming coupon clubs.

To get started all you need to do is gather members. Members could be men or women, family, friends or neighbor’s; anyone who has an interest in saving. Start with a few people and watch your group grow.

The only materials needed are coupons. These can be found in your local newspaper or even on-line. Many name brand products will carry coupons on their web sites.  A pair of scissors will come in handy at this point too.

Time will be something you will have to set aside. Time to clip and organize your coupons, also time to get together with your club members to trade.

Basically these clubs get together weekly or monthly to visit and trade coupons. Trading would entail taking a coupon you do not need or use and exchanging it for something that you can use. During club time members also share where the great deals are happening, so everyone can take advantage of them.  Weekly groups often bring the store flyers along so they can match sales with coupons.

Club meetings could be held just about anywhere. Some meet in coffee shops, but this will only work if the group small. Some groups meet in members homes rotating for each meeting. Some groups even bring foods to share to make it a fun social time.

The main purpose is to bring like minded people together for encouragement and support. So get clipping and save money!
